Petia Ilieva

Prima Ballerina, Etoile of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet and teacher at the Helsinki Dance Institute.
Born in Bulgaria, Petia Ilieva, graduated from National school of choreography and received a masters degree in ballet pedagogy from the Academy of Music “Pancho Vadigerov”.
After 2 years in Sofia Opera Ballet she goes to dance in Germany, followed by Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen and the National Ballet of Norway in Oslo.
From 2001, she is part of the Finland`s National Opera and Ballet, reaching the honorary title - “Premier Etoal”.
She is teaching in the National Ballet School in Helsinki and in Finland`s National Opera.
Petia Ilieva collaborated with world renound performers, choreographers and teachers.
She toured all around the world, spreading her knowledge and love for ballet.
